Curls, Coils & is a Community Interest Company dedicated to transforming the textured hair community. We tackle interconnected challenges—economic inequality among stylists, systemic neglect of children in care, and ongoing discrimination—through three comprehensive branches.
Our approach is holistic. Each branch strengthens the others, creating an ecosystem of support that drives real, lasting change.

The textured hair industry is worth billions, yet the average UK stylist earns just £15-20k per year—despite Black women spending four times more on hair and beauty than any other demographic. The problem isn’t talent or demand. It’s business knowledge.
